Direct Support Professional Recognition Week is September 11 – 17. Plan an evening of food and fun to celebrate your DSPs at one of your favorite local restaurants. You may want to plan two different dates in order to accommodate everyone’s schedule. You can also plan some games or simply let them relax and enjoy being served for the evening.
Arrange for each of your DSPs to be pampered at a local fitness center, spa, or salon. Let them choose between a variety of self-care activities such as massages, hair or nail care, mindfulness sessions, or a fitness class.
